“Gold Akhal-Teke” oil on canvas, 36” x 24”. I’ve wanted to paint this horse breed for a while! They are exceptionally muscular horses with small skulls and gold fur. I love to paint in gold, it really shimmers and reflects light in the day, the acid greens and yellows glow at night.
